2017/18 PSL has come to an end

It was an entertaining season ladies and gents. No football for the next three weeks, but the big one begins on the 14th of June in Russia. No need to get sad, there's still plenty of football to look forward to, but for now let's call it a night and congratulations to Free State Stars. Goodnight folks.

Free State Stars have their first ever trophy in the PSL era

95' The ref blows the whistle to bring the game to an end. It took 24 years for Ea Lla Koto to win a major trophy. They were well organised throughout the game and defended well. Maritzburg will go back to KZN with silver medals around their necks. They gave it their all, it just was not meant to be for the Team of choice. Stars don't only win the trophy, but they also get themselves a fat check of R7million and also book themselves a spot in next season's CAF Confederations Cup.

It really can hey

88' A miscommunication between Xulu and Fellicia leads to a massive chance missed by Maritzburg.

A thoroughly entertaining game.
Anything can still happen, it takes a second to score a goal.
Time wasting tactics by Stars

79' Free State Stars trying to run down time with 10 minutes left before they are confirmed Nedbank Cup champions.

Time is running out
Will it happen?
25 minutes to go

65' Maritzburg still in search of an equalizer. Free State Stars defending for their lives.
