Bye, now!

That's a big win for the Reds. Disappointing for the Lions. They were way under par in the first half, but woke up towards the latter stages of the second.  We're gonna wrap this up here... the Lions will be kicking themselves after that dodgy first half... but swings and roundabouts, right?

81' They've done it! The Lions have their losing bonus point after a jolt of energy int he dying minutes. The hooter had already gone, but the visitors kept pushing and prodding, Kwagga Smith being immense and Schoeman dotting over. The conversion is missed... but the Lions have the point they were searching for.

78' The Lions seem to have woken up now... they sneak  over a try as they go in search of the losing bonus point.

Reds kick for territory from that penalty

75' They take the lineout, build a few phases, then kick wildly which bounces awkwardly and the Lions are back in possession.

76' Kwagga Smith is penalised for a high tackle. Not intentional, but that doesn't matter.

Lions have a line-out

74' And after that they hustle their way onto the Reds' 22....

72' Well, less of an intercept and more of a fumble. After stringing together a few phases, a pass goes awry and the Lions pounce and fumble themselves. They hold on for just a few seconds.

We're back in the corner

69' Penalty after penalty with the Lions completely on top.

But Rohan Janse van Rensburg just loses control on the line, which is rather agonizing. Reds scrum five metres out and they win a free kick.

Marx does it again!

61' Great maul and even fresh legs in the Reds' pack can't halt Marx and Co as they further reduce the deficit.

Game on.

Lions held up again!

59' We could have a game on our hands here, if they can just dot the ball down again.

Reds are beginning to forget what the ball looks like.
